Cauliflower Crust Pizza Recipe
Ingredients:
1 head of cauliflower
1 egg
1/2 cup of grated mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp of dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Your favorite pizza toppings (sauce, cheese, vegetables, meats, etc.)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower and chop it into florets.
Pulse the cauliflower florets in a food processor until it resembles rice.
Steam the cauliflower rice for about 5 minutes, or until it is tender.
Let the cauliflower cool for a few minutes, then transfer it to a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
In a large bowl, combine the cauliflower, egg, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Place the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and press it out into a round shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
Bake the crust for 20 minutes, or until it is golden brown.
Remove the crust from the oven and add your desired toppings. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the toppings are hot.
Slice and serve the pizza immediately.
